These are a few of our ceiling fans...  We still need to get a few more.  They were on sale at Lowe's.

Bar stools

This is one of our greatest finds on craigslist to date.  These bar stools are from Pastel Furniture and retail new for $250/each.  We picked up all 4 for $100!  They were being sold by a relocated California techie family that was remodeling their kitchen. 

Bar cabinets

Last week, David and I were shopping for cabinets and counter tops at Lowe's.  He asked how the custom cabinets are shipped since he will be installing them, and Razni (our new favorite sales person) escorted us to the back of the store.  They had just received a return shipment of cabinets from a contractor who miscalculated the dimensions.  They are cherry wood, java colored cabinets with quiet close drawers and are in great shape.  We got 3 great base cabinets for our bar for about 70% off of retail price!

Super Busy!

David and I have been super busy over the last months getting ready for our new house.  His current house is storing all of the stuff we have gotten for our new house and is filling up fast!  We are always looking for great deals and I am becoming a craigslist stalker!  We were out at his house yesterday re-organizing, and thought I would take some photos to share on the blog!  Hope you enjoy them! :)

Loan Approved!!!

Our construction loan was approved on 8/30.  We now wait for about 3 weeks for the title company to draw up the paperwork in order for us to close on the loan.  Once we do, we can start construction!  Woo hoo!!!!

Tiny House

Well... While the subs are running thru the #'s, I decided to build "tiny house".  I really wanted to see what the roof structure was going to look like.  I most likely will paint this when all is said & done.  It really helps with the spaces & seeing what works/doesn't.

Tedious Paperwork

Currently working on the mountains of paperwork to get this happy home moving forward.  No fun new pictures as of now, but I am working on a mini-house to review roof lines & ceiling heights.  I've am patiently waiting on #'s back from the subs to get moving forward.  The slab will make or break our design, so I'm working hard to get that hashed out.  Will try to give a more timely update to all...
