Out of my office window...

Baby moo cow is resting...  I am going to go to the kitchen and cut up some apples to feed her.  :)

Baby sheep!

As I was pulling out to head to volleyball yesterday, the neighbors sheep were near the gate.  They are so cute!

Baby moo cow likes the new trimmed tree!

She was rubbing her head against it this afternoon.  Must feel good! :)  She looks so big!  I fed her some apples afterwards.  No other moo cows were around, so she got them all to herself. :)

Check out the frost on our trees!  It is still below freezing here.  High today was 34.  Tomorrow should be in 60's and Sunday back in 70's.

Snow/Ice!

David snapped these pictures this morning.  Lockhart ISD issued a 2-hour delay on classes this morning.

It is 26 degrees right now (feels like it is in the teens!) with a high of 40 today with a 50% chance of more snow showers this morning...

Even though there are only 3 of us, it is still fun.  I have surprise rewards for winners of 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters as well as the final score.

Our final score predictions are:

David: Denver 24-Seattle 10
Mom: Seattle 23-Denver 10
Kelly: Denver 28- Seattle 24

Rock landscaping!

We used leftover rock from our exterior house construction to make highlight wells around our trees in the backyard.  We still have more to do, but these were the four we finished today.

Loading up the truck with limbs...

All of the tree limbs that were cut, we put in the bed of the truck and we drove them to the big burn pile by the Man cave.  We had to make a couple trips...

Cedar tree - After

This is the same tree after it was cleaned up.  It definitely opens up the backyard and looks so nice.

Cedar tree - Before

Trimming trees ...Today David attacked the trees with a chainsaw to clean them up a bit.  We have tons of trees on our 25 acres-mainly Cedar, Mesquite and some Oak.

We focused mainly trees along the road and around the house.  This is a nice Cedar right out our back door.
