While feeding the cows on our way to town for lunch and errands, David decided to open the gate into the little foyer area before the hay barn.  It was wildly growing with grass and weeds.  The cows loved the plushness of it as this is where we found them when we returned from town... :)

Fritz and Kathy!

Fritz flew down to Houston to visit his daughter and family.  With Tres Cinco only being 2 hrs from Katy, he made a one night stop.  I met him in Bastrop, we had a great lunch at Grace Miller's Restaurant, and headed to the casa.  Fritz picked us up some Bordeaux on the way.  It was a great visit!!
