Cabinets arrived!

We need to finish HVAC and electrical and then focus on staining the concrete.  After we cover our beautiful stain job with protective paper, sheetrock begins, roof and exterior stucco follows.  Then we paint interior and set cabinets to get our granite countertops ordered.  Fun stuff!

Fireplace and chimney arrived!

Foam sealant...

Since we have 9-ft ceilings throughout the house, and the plywood only comes in 8-ft sheets, I sealed the gap where the plywood meets around the exterior of the house.

I was glad David bought a little stool on rollers, but I still won't quit my day job! :o :)

We were working late annd using portable work lights to see.  A little earlier in the night we had a surprise visit from Weston (our builder) and his wife, Peggy!  It was nice to see them and they only live 5 miles from us!

Day spent on my hands and knees...

Erasing all of the contractors marks on the concrete.  Each window, door, closet, etc. seemed to have a story to go with it.  It took forever!  (We are doing stained concrete floors so all marks need to be cleaned up.)

Fake TV
